In London, new shared ownership homes are being launched.

Thanks to a recent fractional ownership development named Aspire@E14, first-time buyers looking to live in the heart of London can now own a slice of this great city for a fraction of the real estate prices.

The shared ownership homes, which are situated in the Limehouse area between City and Canary Wharf, start at £88,000 for a 40% share (full market price is £220,000). A2Dominion New Homes is marketing the 32 houses. doha house

Just minutes from Limehouse Basin, the building offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.

"Aspire @ E14 provides high-quality but affordable new homes for first-time buyers in this rapidly-developing area of London," said Tariq Qureshi, A2Dominion's Director of Sales and Marketing (London). "The city has a real vibrancy thanks to excellent infrastructure and heavy inward investment spurred on by the 2012 Olympics, as well as fantastic facilities like the O2 Millennium Dome and the Excel Exhibition Center. With the Thames Gateway project well underway, now is an excellent time to invest in Limehouse."

Solar panels were used to produce electricity for the houses, as well as an eco-friendly hybrid heat and power system. Homebuyers would also have access to a car club, as well as a video entry phone system, porter service, and CCTV.

Building by Taylor Morrison Enclave for the Redstone Golf Course

Taylor Morrison, who was ranked the No. 1 private homebuilder in the United States by Builder magazine in 2010 and 2011, is building Estates at Fairway Crossing, a gated golf course enclave in the Houston suburb of Fall Creek. The Estates at Fairway Crossing have 50 home sites that back up to the Redstone Golf Course or a natural creek.

Prices for homes vary from the mid-$300,000s to the mid-$600,000s.

The non-custom home sites in Estates at Fairway Crossing are the highest on the Redstone Golf Course. Taylor Morrison has 13 one- and two-story plans ranging in size from 3,265 to 5,491 square feet, all on 80-foot home sites. The Treviso model will debut in May as part of Fall Creek's Open Homes Spectacular and will be officially unveiled in June. Johnson Development Corp., which has been developing master-planned communities in the Houston area for over three decades, including Riverstone and Sienna Plantation in Fort Bend County, is developing Fall Creek.

According to Amy Haywood-Rino, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison Houston, "Estates at Fairway Crossing was built to highlight surrounding fairways and the natural beauty of its venue." "Custom homes costing millions of dollars are the nearest homes. Our homes will have upscale curb appeal and back-yard views of the golf course. We're excited to be in a Johnson Development culture, as this is our first golf course enclave."

Taylor Morrison has developed a series of floor plans of flex spaces, dual master suites, private/shared bathrooms, and various living areas inside and out over the last two years to accommodate multigenerational families.

Fall Creek is home to the prestigious Redstone Golf Club, which features two 18-hole courses: the Jacobsen Hardy-designed Member Course and the Rees Jones-designed Tournament Course, which hosts the Shell Houston Open.

Taylor Morrison is currently constructing homes in 23 Houston neighborhoods, with prices ranging from $100,000 to over $1 million. Taylor Morrison provides first-time, mid-market, and mid-to-upscale homes in both master-planned developments and urban infill neighborhoods in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, and Texas. In addition, the group owns Monarch, one of Canada's largest homebuilding firms, which constructs single-family homes and high-rise condominiums in Toronto and Ottawa.
