Mynd to become the biggest single family home buyer in the USA!

Mynd, who has rethought the way Single Family Rental (SFR) investors seek, buy and manage their properties, today announced an agreement with Invesco Real Estate which will lead Mynd to become one of the largest buyers of SFR properties in the country. Invesco Real Estate, a global investment manager in real estate, invests in Mynd as an institutional investor and also partners with Mynd.

Invesco Real Estate is the lead investor in a $40 million funding round to expedite the development, in all aspects of the company's business, of Mynd's all-in-one real estate investment and management technology platform. In addition, the capital will help Mynd expand its acquisitions and renovations capabilities. apartments

Doug Brien, CEO and co-founder of Mynd: "Our partnership with Invesco Real Estate marks an important moment for the SFR industry – and it is a key validator of Mynd's vision, business model and technology. "Our goal has always been to unlock investors throughout the country and now we can do so on an incredible scale."

Mynd's technological platform to locate, purchase and manage rental properties eliminates the physical barriers to investment, enabling stable income from investment in the country's top rental markets. Mynd currently has over 7,000 management homes on 25 markets and is ready to become the largest purchaser and manager of single-family rental services in the United States, with the company deploying up to $5 billion in multiple Strategies to acquire 20,000 homes to support the capital deployment targets of Invesco Real Estate.

"Mynd uses technology to change the way retail and institutional investors approach real estate. We know SFR is a tremendous opportunity to invest in an emerging asset class which will give Americans looking for their next home a high quality living experience," said Pete Cassiano, Managing Director, Invesco Real Estate. "We look forward to partnering with the Mynd team as they expand their offering and allow our customer base to expand SFR - all online."
